This movie has a weak plot and capitalised on the gory and human reaction towards sudden and abrupt scenes. In a way, the gore factor is one that might turn a lot of people off (I can't for ALL....there are people who likes GORE and survives on BLOOD, AMPUTATED LIMBS, BRAIN MESHES.....).
In the movie, there are many parts where the characters will meet with horrendous deaths. Which leads to me think how humans can degrade themselves to feed on other fellow humans' misery. Maybe they are born like that. Their DNA or up-bringing steered their course to a never-returning one. I can't tell. Can you?
This movie has a weak production. The cameras are unstable, especially evident in the first few scenes. There was a geninue attempt to act, but, Paris Hilton?....I'll give the overall acting 3 fakes out of 5.
Overall the movie is AFTERALL a low-budget horror movie. Hence, credit must be given the level of authencity in the props, make-up and the set. The House of Wax was literally build with wax. Hmmmm, this certainly deserves credit, but the show....let's just say that if you have the money, time and concentration, give it a try. Paris Hilton IS hot......
